High Performance Tightly Braided PEEK Polymer Filaments

Flexo® PEEK expandable sleeving is braided from 10 mil filaments of pure, unfilled PolyEtherEther-Ketone (PEEK) polymer, offering an exceptional balance of strength, heat resistance, and chemical stability. Similar to PPS but with a significantly wider operating temperature range, PEEK is a high-performance advanced polymer valued for its exceptional physical properties.

Naturally flame retardant with a V-0 flammability rating, PEEK can endure continuous exposure to superheated water or steam up to 500°F and resists most acids, solvents, and bases. It is FDA-approved for food contact, highly resistant to radiation damage, and suitable for Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) environments.

Due to its durability and purity, PEEK is widely used in aerospace, automotive, telecommunication, and chemical processing industries, as well as in biomedical applications where it serves as an advanced biomaterial for implants and other medical components. It can withstand thousands of sterilization cycles without compromising performance.

The tightly braided Flexo® PEEK sleeving expands easily to fit over connectors and splices, providing complete, rugged protection for wires, hoses, and cable bundles in the most demanding engineering environments.
